ULAA Team

ULAA's Team is based at our offices in the Student Centre which places ULAA at the heart of the student community who are, of course, the graduates of tomorrow!

  

Majella O'Connell, Executive Director

Originally from Kilrush in Co. Clare, Majella (neé O'Malley)is a UL alumna, having graduated from the University with a BA European Studies & German degree. Following her graduation in 1991, Majella joined campus-based management training company Plassey Management & Technology Centre, working for 4 years in an administrative role. After 4 years with PMTC, she worked briefly in Customer Service with AST Computers based in the National Technological Park at Plassey when the role of Manager of the UL Alumni Association became vacant. Majella took up this role in March, 1996 and in the intervening years, both the role and the organisation have evolved significantly.

As Executive Director of ULAA today, Majella reports to the organisation's Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall management of the company, staff, budget, projects and other activities.

Norita Kelleher, Project Co-ordinator

An alumna of UL, having graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, Limerick-born Norita joined ULAA in November, 2004 having previously worked with a local manufacturing company.

Her main responsibilities today are the maintenance of ULAA's website, database and communications. Norita is also involved in providing support to our regional and global Alumni Chapters.

 Charlotte Keogh, Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Originally from Manchester, UK, Charlotte graduated from LIT with a Degree in Business & Finance.  Prior to joining ULAA in March 2014, Charlotte worked as an Accounts Assistant for Pat Keogh Motors and Shannon Airport Authority.

 

As Administrative Assistant, Charlotte’s main responsibilities are to action all incoming enquiries, provide administrative support to the Executive Director of ULAA, database maintenance, assist in organising events and accounts support.
