The 25 year Reunion for the Class of 1982 began with a welcome from UL's President followed by a tour of the campus during which graduates rediscovered old haunts and saw first-hand some amazing new developments.

The day ended with a relaxed celebratory Barbeque at the Stables Club on campus where Brendan, Declan and co. made sure everyone was well looked after.   DJ Ber Angley was also on hand to welcome back our returning alumni.

"Thanks, it was great day. I though the format was pretty good.  Our memories of 82 were predominantly of being cold. I remember trying to chop up a Christmas tree in March with a kitchen knife to get some heat. Some of the others remembered putting on layers to go to bed." Robbie Noone BSc (Electronic Systems)

I really appreciate the event, the effort and organisation that obviously is put into these reunions, and the opportunity to meet so many people again after a long time.  What I liked was meeting up (for the joy of seeing each other again), the tour (to learn a little about the labyrinth that the campus has become), talking together over dinner and for the rest of the evening (to catch up, to remember and to laugh).  Robert Mercier BSc (Electronic Systems)

Thanks for organising it. It was a great day. Patrick Healy BSc (Electronic Systems)

"I enjoyed the day and would like to thank you for a very pleasant afternoon and evening.  The format worked well with plenty of time to meet up and talk to old friends and colleagues." Sean Nolan BBS (right)
